Jesus Wins

Thanks for continuing to read this after the excerpts from my life. Thank you also for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. It was overwhelming at times to read some of your notes and comments. So thanks.

I have many hurt feelings against the “church.” In all reality I have hurt feelings from people who belong to the “church.” Many years ago I adopted the phrase, “I gave up Christianity to follow Christ” for my own life. That is still true today. However, I am not blind to the fact that you need others in your life. I will get to that another day.

After I came back from India, I had a lot of time to reflect. The main thing I took away from that trip is the simple concept that Jesus wins. It is a short and simple phrase that means so much to me. We may lose certain battles in life, but the war is already won for us if we believe. No matter what we are fighting, no matter what the struggle may be, Jesus wins. How relieving and encouraging! What a great battle cry!

EVERYONE has their “thing.” They have their own struggles and their own past. All of that has already been fought for and won by the creator. How amazing! Healing begins when we are honest about our struggle and no longer have to hide it. As I said, everyone has their thing. Even the people that judge you and hurt you the most have their struggle.
