Kourtney, do you take Ryan to be your husband. Your faithful partner, and your one true love, loving you now and as he grows and develops into all that God intends. Do you promise to encourage him, inspire him, and truly love him when you are together and when you are apart. When your lives are at peace and when they are in turmoil, when you are proud of him and when you are disappointed in him. Do you promise to passionately pursue him, pray for him and to empower him to do the things he dreams of. From the depth of your being do you promise to be open and honest with him and laugh with him. Will you love him unconditionally through all of life’s adventures. Do you promise all of these things believing God is in the midst of them all.
Dear Ryan,
I said yes that day and will continue saying yes every day for the rest of my existence. Life with you is just better. Life with you is full of laughter and joy.
Life with you is an adventure. With you I feel safe and like we can face anything as long as we are together. You are my best friend. You are the greatest love in my life.
We have lived so much life in four years. We have parented eight children, adopted one and have one adoption pending. We have lost a parent and friend. Our extended family has grown by births. I’ve changed jobs. We have traveled. We bought a house and already growing out of it. So much life in four years. I can’t wait for the next 40.
I love you today and everyday for the rest of my life.
Koko
